Season Two

01. In My Time of Dying
After the car crash, Dean finds himself waking up in a hospital...
but not in his own body. As a sort of spirit he is walking around the hospital with no one who can see him, hear him, and on top of all, there's a supernatural being terrorizing the patients - and it's after him as well.
Meanwhile, Sam tries to cope with his unconscious and on-the-verge-of-dying brother, and his father who still seems to hold more interest in the demon than his own sons. When Sam suspects the spirit of Dean is still walking around, he tries to contact his older brother, and then finds out John has different plans with the demon than he originally told Sam.

02. Everybody Loves a Clown
Sam tries to cope with the death of John and worries that Dean isn't dealing.
Meanwhile, the boys run into another set of hunters, a young woman and her mother, the latter an old friend of John's. While an acquaintance tries to figure out John's notes about the demon, Sam and Dean take on another job that involves nothing less than a homicidal clown.

03. Bloodlust
The brothers find themselves a new job, to Dean's great pleasure. They soon find out it involves a vampire, and while hunting the thing down they run into another hunter who turns out to be not all good news.
Meanwhile, Sam is personally contacted by the vampires from the nest, and what they have to tell him is quite unexpected.

04. Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things
a.k.a. Afterlife
The brothers investigate the weird events around the death of a college student who died in a car crash, and find out she's in fact come back from the dead to seek revenge on those who mistreated her in life.
Meanwhile, the brothers realize the young woman's grave is at the same cemetery where their mother is buried; Sam asks if they should pay the grave a visit, but Dean is less keen on doing so.

05. Simon Said
Sam and Dean come across a young guy named Andy, who possesses psychical powers of persuasion. They find out Andy's family received a visit from the Demon twenty-two years ago, and Sam starts wondering if Andy might be part of the special group of children the Demon talked about.
Then, people in Andy's environment start dying, and the brothers start to wonder if Andy is using his powers to kill.

06. No Exit
The brothers investigate a series of murders upon blond women, all inhabitants of the same apartment. They figure they're dealing with a spirit, and not the nicest one either.
Meanwhile, Jo ignores her mother's warnings and requests and secretly takes off to join the Winchester brothers on their hunting trip - but only to end up becoming of a victim of the spirit herself.

07. The Usual Suspects
Dean and Sam investigate a murder of a lawyer and his wife,
who both claim to have seen a ghost right before their death. They're investigation is enabled however when two local detectives find out about the brothers' records. The boys had been escaping the police (at some occasions quite literally) for a long while, but now have to face they can't escape them any longer when they are arrested for double homicide.
Deciding there is no other way, Dean comes clean about their supernatural business and after detective Ballard receives a little visit from the ghost herself, she starts wondering if Dean might indeed be telling the truth.

08. Crossroad Blues
When two highly successful persons, almost considered geniuses, pass away after claiming to be haunted by hell hounds, Sam and Dean take a closer look at the case and find out that near the local dive bar, a demon has been making deals with mortals, making their dreams come true but in exchange for their souls.
Dean summons the demon himself and prepares for an exorcism, but is left horrified when the summoned demon tells him the real truth about the death of John and tries to lure him into making a deal himself, by offering him the one thing he wants more than anything: his father.

09. Croatoan
Sam has a vision in which he sees Dean shooting an innocent young man. They head to a small town in Oregon, where a deadly virus drives its inhabitants to kill.
After Sam gets infected, he tries to persuade Dean to get the hell out of town and he prepares for his deadly fate, but Dean refuses to leave and is forced to come clean about the secret information he's been carrying around for quite a while: what their father told him about Sam right before his death.

10. Hunted
Dean finally comes clean and tells his brother what their father told him about Sam, before his death.
After hearing this, Sam gets Ash to track down other psychics like him and runs off to Indiana. There, a young woman named Ava contacts him with the message that she had a vision about him, dying. Sam realizes they are connected and have the psychic visions in common, and he tells her they are part of something much bigger, but Ava isn't keen on being dragged into this world at all.
Meanwhile, Dean does whatever he can to track down his brother, but has another rather nasty run-in with hunter Gordon Walker instead.

11. Playthings
After a tip from Ellen, the brothers travel to Connecticut to visit the Cornwall Inn - an old, run-down hotel where many strange deaths have been happening recently. Dean and Sam suspect someone in the owner's family is practising hoodoo, but they can't seem to figure out who it is.
Meanwhile, Sam is having a hard time dealing with his new destiny and what he might become. He resorts to alcohol when he can no longer bare the guilt that he couldn't save Ava or other innocents - and he begs Dean to promise to kill him if he'd ever become a monster.

12. Nightshifter
The brothers investigate a string of robberies, each committed by a trusted employee - who commits suicide afterward. They get in contact with Ronald, a security guard of one of the banks that was robbed, and he believes the crimes are committed by a mandroid: half man, half robot, with the ability to change into any form it wishes.
Desperate to prove what he saw, Ronald holds up a bank and keeps everyone as hostages - including Dean and Sam. The brothers soon win the trust of Ronald and they team up to find the shapeshifter. However, they get into a bad situation, because not only does the shapeshifter shift rapidly, leaving the boys with no idea who the culprit is; but they are also hunted by FBI Special Agent Henriksen, who believes Sam and Dean are guilty of multiple murders and is out for their blood.

13. Houses of the Holy
f.k.a. Touched
Sam holds Dean locked up in their hotel room, because his face was once again all over the news.
Meanwhile, the brothers start investigating a case where two people in the same town have randomly killed an innocent person, stating they did because it was God's will.
When the murderers say they were visited by an angel, Sam is open to the idea, but Dean doesn't even wanna consider the possibility - until he sees something even he can't explain.

14. Born Under a Bad Sign
f.k.a. Welcome To My Nightmare
Dean wakes up to find Sam has disappeared without trace. Then, he receives a frantic call from his brother, and when he rushes to his side, finds out Sam doesn't remember anything he's done for a week. Retracing Sam's steps leads the brothers to an abandoned house, where they find the murdered body of a hunter - and a tape showing Sam was the one who killed him.
Fearing his evil side is finally taking over, Sam is desperate and urges his brother to kill him, but Dean won't respect his wishes. Then, Sam hits his brother knock-out and takes off - and Dean is left to hurry across the country after his baby brother and the evil that has taken him over, forcing Sam to find and kill the hunters he comes across along the way.

15. Tall Tales
Sam and Dean call their hunter friend Bobby for help, when they get stuck while working a case; a string of strange events has been occurring on a college campus, such as alien abductions and an alligator in the sewers, and the brothers can't find any answers.
Meanwhile, the effects of being on the road with each other for so long are finally starting to show, because the feud that had been brewing is now escalating - unabling the hunters to properly work their case.

16. Roadkill
When driving down an deserted highway, the brothers run into a woman named Molly. She's freaked, claiming she and her husband David ran over an old man and now David is gone, and the man is hunting her. Sam and Dean tell her they're hunters and that the old man is a spirit, who has chosen her as his next victim. However, the brothers won't tell Molly what really happened to David and it seems like they're hiding even more - and when Molly finds out the truth, the shock is greater than she could've imagined.

17. Heart
Dean is exited when he and Sam get to hunt a werewolf. However, as usual, the case isn't a simple 'hunt and kill'. The werewolf turns out to be a young woman, Madison, who has absolutely no knowledge of her condition. On top of all, Sam finds himself falling for Madison and, although the case seems pretty hopeless, he's willing to try anything to find a cure.

18. Hollywood Babylon
During a well-enjoyed trip to Hollywood, Dean and Sam start investigating a horror film set where one of the actors was supposedly killed by a ghost. This death soon turns out to be a publicity hoax, but while the brothers are on set, a couple of other strange occurrences and deaths leads them to believe the set is indeed haunted.

19. Folsom Prison Blues
The boys find out a ghost has been killing off inmates in a prison. They decide the only way to take out the ghost is infiltrating the prison - and so they get themselves arrested and thrown into jail as well. However, it's only a matter of time before Special Agent Henricksen of the FBI takes over the brother's case, making their jailbreak a little harder than expected.

20. What Is and What Should Never Be
After being attacked by a creature called a Djinn, Dean is under effect of the demon's mojo and finds himself in an alternate reality. In this reality, the brother's mother never died, meaning John never knew of the supernatural and the brothers never became hunters.
It doesn't take Dean very long to feel at home in this wonderfully normal world, where he's married to a beautiful woman, his mom is still alive and his life isn't in danger every day - but the downsides of this world can't be ignored either. On top of that, Dean is stalked by the appearance of a young girl, and slowly he starts realizing that maybe his place in this new world isn't right.

21. All Hell Breaks Loose, Part One
Sam wakes up in a ghost town with a bunch of other people, including Ava. Each and every one of them has special abilities, and the group soon learns they have been brought together by the Yellow-Eyed demon for a final showdown: a battle between the special children in which the strongest will be left standing. This person will help in the all-out war between the demons and the human race.
The Yellow-Eyed demon is eager to have Sam be this person, and in an effort to encourage Sam to participate, he promises to show the youngest Winchester what really happened to his mother.
Meanwhile, Dean seeks the help of Bobby and together they succeed in tracking down Sam - only to find they arrived too late...

22. All Hell Breaks Loose, Part Two
In a desperate attempt to bring Sam back to life, Dean makes a horrible pact with a demon from the crossroads. It works and Sam is revived, but has no memory of what's happened.
Meanwhile, Jake is helping the Yellow-Eyed Demon in his plan to open a portal to Hell and unleash all sorts of spirits and demons to attack the human race. Dean, Sam and Bobby are backed up by Ellen and the foursome do everything in their power to interfere with the Demon's plan - but just when things are looking hopeless, they receive help from a very unexpected ally that's clawed its way out of Hell too.
