History

January 24, 1979: Dean Winchester is born to Mary and John Winchester. Four years later, on May 2, 1983, their second son Sam is born. Only six months later, on the 2nd of November, John rescues his two sons from a fire in their house, in which Mary Winchester dies. From this day on, John learns about the supernatural and the demon that created the fire and murdered his wife. He promises to himself that he will do anything in his power to track this demon down and kill it - and on the way, hunting down and destroying every evil supernatural force he encounters along the way.

Sam and Dean are raised as warriors. They learn everything about martial arts, weapons and of course, the supernatural. But unlike his father and brother, Sam is more eager to live a normal life, and in 2003 he leaves his family and goes off to Stanford.

Two years later on October 31, 2005, Dean shows up at Sam's doorstep at Stanford with the message that their father has been out on a hunting trip, and hasn't returned or contacted his son in three weeks. The brothers take off to find their father, but are not successful. Dean hopes Sam will go with him and help him in the search of their father, but Sam returns to Stanford.
There, Sam's girlfriend Jessica dies in the exact same way Mary Winchester did, and the brothers know it's the demon's doing.

Dean and Sam team up to track down their father, driving the abandoned back roads of America - and killing every evil supernatural force they face along the way.
